Shipping Policy

The Jolly Shopper is a small, woman-owned business that proudly offers a unique worldwide shopping experience. We travel and collect special items abroad and also consolidate shipments from the USA and other parts of the world. This means that purchasing through us involves certain shipping periods, which are clearly advertised on each product.

Shopping with The Jolly Shopper means you agree to and understand our shipping terms below. We work very hard to build a wonderful culture with all shoppers, and this policy reflects our transparency so we can all understand the system and shop worldwide together.

How We Source Your Items

  • Once we receive your order, we purchase the items for you.

  • When dealing with big-box stores, orders can sometimes be cancelled or substituted without our knowledge. We’ll always do our best for you, but we cannot control the store’s process.

  • The retail environment in the USA moves fast; items can go out of stock within hours. We reserve the right to make substitute decisions based on value and item similarity, or wait until the item returns to stock if we believe that’s the best option.

Shipping Timeframes

  • We aim to have your order back in New Zealand within 2–4 weeks. Because we work with external logistics companies, we cannot control shipping times.

  • In-stock items will be couriered out within 24–48 hours once they arrive in New Zealand.

  • All items are dispatched using Aramex shipping and you’ll receive a tracking number.

Refunds & Large Orders

  • If, for any reason, we cannot purchase your item (for example, it’s seasonal or sizes aren’t available), we will issue a refund once the consolidated shipment has arrived at our warehouse.

  • We reserve the right to decline larger purchases that exceed our normal shipping sizes. If you think your item might fall into this category, please check with us before ordering.

Important Notes

  • Ordering from overseas means delivery is not fast. If you’re not prepared to accept or understand this logistical chain, The Jolly Shopper may not be suitable for you.

  • We openly communicate with you if there are issues outside of this chain. However, repeated or harassing messages will not speed up your order, as these situations are beyond our control.

  • If you’re ordering for a special occasion, let us know within 24 hours of placing your order so we can do our utmost to accommodate you.

  • As resellers, we cannot guarantee product quality. Please understand the original store’s return policies before purchasing. Occasionally, items may arrive with defects.
